Read bus data from Rust (1987) to be read into niqlow.

This program

Reads the original ascii data files for bus types.
Discretizes the mileage for both N=90 and N=175
Creates data for the 3 columns of estimates from the original paper.
Identifies replacement months by either month or mileage. This is changed by hard-reset of the global constant runtype
Generates the innovation or jump $j$ in $x$
Saves the data to a Stata data file to be read in by niqlow for MLE.

Input

The raw files which are vectorized versions of a 128x37 matrix, each column is a bus.
Each column has a header of 11 rows followed by odometer readings for each month.
The header contains up to two engine replacement months and years after the bus was brought into service.
This data is then used to convert the raw odometer readings into a combination of the model $(d,x)$ pair, consisting of the rebuild decision and odometer bin category.

The Output

3 Stata data files, one for each column of estimates, named for either mileage or month determination of replacements.
Discretization for both values of N appear in each file with suffixes 90 and 175 on the Stata variables.
